Özel Yetenekli Çocukların Mizah Duyguları ve Arkadaşlık İlişkileri
Özet
Objective: This study was conducted to examine the sense of
humor and friendship relations of gifted children.
Method: The study group consisted of 87 gifted children
studying at the Science and Art Center at the 6th, 7th and 8th
grades. The Peer Relations Scale and the Multidimensional
Humor Scale for School Children were used as data collection
tools. The data were evaluated using Analysis of Variance,
Kruskal Wallis Test, correlation and t test in SPSS 22.0
program.
Results: As a result of the evaluations made, it was found that
peer relationships and humor skills changed by gender; It was
determined that there is a significant difference between
children's ages and their humor skills. As the age grows, there
is an increase in peer relationships and sense of humor.
Coclusion: It has been determined that children with humor
skills have a higher level of peer relationships. A significant
relationship was found between the skills of creating humor,
understanding and coping with humor and peer relationships
of the study group.It was found that the education level of the
mother affected the peer relations, and the peer relationships
were more common in the children of the university graduate
mothers.
