Oyun ve Oyuncakların Çocuk Gelişimi Üzerindeki Etkileri
Özet
This study aims to examine the effect of games and toys on children's development. In the introduction, the aim and importance of the study are emphasized. In the second part, the definition and history of the game are discussed. Different classifications of the game and its contributions to the child are emphasized. In the third chapter, information about the definition and selection of the toy is given. In order to better understand the effects of games and toys on the development of the child, physical, psychological, emotional, social, linguistic and cognitive development are discussed in the fourth chapter. Considering the effects of games and toys on the physical development of children, it is seen that they play an important role in the development of motor skills. Toys help children develop hand-eye coordination, motor skills and muscle strength. When psychomotor development is focused, it is seen that games and toys support children's attention, focus and problem-solving skills. In terms of emotional development, toys help children learn to express their emotions and develop emotional intelligence. It also develops empathy, cooperation and communication skills, which form the basis of children's social interactions. As part of language development, toys help children expand their vocabulary, develop language skills and increase expression. At the same time, in terms of cognitive development, games and toys contribute to children's problem solving, logical thinking, creativity and imagination. Through games and toys, children develop and explore their mental processes by learning new concepts.
