dc.description.abstract | In this study, a fifteen-year-old girl with anxiety disorder was evaluated. In the examined case; Feeling unhappy and distressed, not being close to their peers, recurrent depressive episodes and intense anxiety symptoms. After the initial evaluations, Anxiety and Depression Scale-Renewed (ÇADÖ-Y) form was applied in children. Adolescent, Child and adolescent are directed to psychiatry. Both psychiatry and cognitive behavioral psychotherapy method were applied. It is based on the thought-emotion-behavior triangle. The main purpose of the consultancy service is to ensure that it creates alternative thoughts. In this way, the adolescent learned that their thoughts affect their emotions and that their emotions affect their behavior. Thus, awareness was developed in adolescents in this study. In the study homework, assumption that technique, alternative perspective, self-disclosure, double standard technique, evidence review, "what do you recommend to your friend" technique were applied. As a result of the study, the academic success of the adolescent increased and he was able to maintain anxiety control. With the research, the importance of thought, emotion and behavioral interaction in adolescents has been revealed.
