The virus named as Covid-19 by the World Health Organization (WHO) and evaluated as an "international public health emergency"; As it spreads rapidly from person to person through droplets and contact and can be deadly, it has affected Turkey as well as the whole world. It is stated that many institutions and organizations such as universities providing services related to the education sector are among the affected areas. Universities in our country have gradually suspended the education-teaching process during the pandemic process and have developed different education-teaching models for this extraordinary situation. One of the education-teaching models applied in university institutions is the distance education model. In the distance education model; It is known that nursing education, which has a curriculum supported by clinical applications, is carried out mostly with theoretical courses, and clinical applications are almost never realized. This situation caused the theoretical lessons given with the distance education model to be forgotten quickly and the nursing students to feel inadequate and experience anxiety. In addition, considering that nursing students are both a part of the society and reflect the future of the society; It is also stated that they experience anxiety, stress or depression due to negative situations such as the feeling of uncertainty, risk of infection, curfew. Reporting that the effects of the Covid-19 virus continue in many studies on the subject is also important in terms of keeping the issue up to date and raising awareness about the issue. In this context, in this review, it is aimed to draw attention to the mental states of nursing students during and after the Covid-19 pandemic.en_US
