Abstract

Playing games is very important in child development. Children communicate with social life through play. Toys are children's words. As the child gains experience, plays with various materials, and watches the people around him, he also learns to solve problems. In fact, as early as 8 to 11 months, children are developing problem-solving skills. Problem-solving skills usually begin to emerge in the preschool years. In most cases, children's problem-solving skills emerge when they encounter various situations. The child observes adults producing solutions to a problem and then acquires problem-solving skills. These role models help children understand how their actions can affect problems and their consequences. One of the most important aspects of problem solving is identifying the problem at the earliest stage so it can be prevented from developing into a more serious situation. This type of information is necessary for children to develop healthy relationships with others. Additionally, problem solving plays a vital role in children's cognitive development. Problem solving is an important skill for both cognitive development and language development. In this study; the importance of children playing at all ages; development of children's problem-solving skills while playing; Considering the support of children's language development during games, this study conducted detailed examinations of the effects of children's games on their problem-solving skills and language development. This information is intended to contribute to the field of child development science.
