Life is a whole with its substance and meaning. The Ahi order, which was practiced in Anatolia during the Turkish Seljuk State in the 13th century, adopted and implemented this understanding. In the understanding of Ahiism, which accepts human beings as a social being, the proverb/saying "What is the point of one hand, what is the voice of two hands" determines the flow of life. The apprentice-apprentice-journeyman and master hierarchy is not only the basic criterion for acquiring a profession in the Ahi order, but also enables the sensitivity of raising responsible people in a humanitarian and Islamic climate. In this aspect, Ahiism; On the one hand, it implements the proverb "art is a golden bracelet" and idealizes taking burdens rather than being a burden, while on the other hand, with the understanding of futuwwa that it nourishes spiritually, it brings individuals into the social body who do not surrender to things. “No art or profession can be learned from a book. It is definitely learned from the master. Ahi Evran, who said, "Even holding a spoon and eating yoghurt is possible with motherly training," drew attention to the importance of learning by doing centuries ago. It is again Ahi Evran who points out that knowledge will become profitable if it is put into practice, saying, "Useless knowledge is a burden on the chest." Muaz b. Spiritually nourished by our beloved prophet, who encouraged and encouraged working and producing by holding Cebel's calloused hand and saying "Hell will not burn this hand", Ahiism is a system that established the first industrial site in the world by bringing together professional organizations in Kayseri in the 13th century in world history. We have to express with pleasure that the Ahi system has begun to be partially implemented, albeit theoretically, in some of the schools providing education at the secondary level in our country (Turkey). In this context, for the first time in higher education in our country (Turkey), Ahilik course is offered to all students as an elective course at KTO Karatay University. Our wish is for this practice to become widespread. The Ahi system, some of whose principles we have mentioned above, started a trial run with the project titled "Ahi order and Team Work in Education" at Istanbul Technical University Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. With this project; It is aimed for the students in our school to adopt team spirit, to come together in the physical environment to create synergy, to have self-confidence, and to experience the pleasure of winning by sharing. In creating the team spirit that we put into practice during the career acquisition process, not only the physical gathering of students was sufficient, but also volunteer representatives from certain sectors and university students were included in the scope of our project. With this project we are implementing, we expect our students to add value to our country's economy by implementing the understanding of "working with reason and morality, and the one who surpasses us is one of us", one of the basic principles of Ahiism. According to the surveys we conducted, both our students and company representatives have made promising evaluations about this ongoing project. We aim to achieve the following gains with our project; practical thinking, Increasing the ability to produce solutions, Infrastructure in line with world standards, Solidarity/solidarity, Learning using body language, Rapid maturation/evolution, Developing solutions according to needs, Sharing success, Don't restrain your ego.
