İlköğretim Ders Kitaplarında Kullanılan İllüstrasyonların Öğrencilerin Yaşına Uygunluğunun Değerlendirilmesi : İlkokul 4. Sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler Ders Kitabının İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu tez çalışması, 4. Sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler ders kitaplarının içerisindeki illüstrasyonların öğrenci yaşına uygunluğunun değerlendirilmesi niteliğinde yapılmıştır. Bu tez araştırmasının modeli ise betimsel bir anket uygulamasıdır. Anket incelemesine dayalı olarak nitel bir veri toparlama tekniği kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın evrenini ise MEB tarafından onaylanmış ilköğretim dördüncü sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler ders kitapları oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin, uzmanlar ve öğretmenlere uygulanmış olan anketler sonucunda elde edilmiştir. Bu araştırmanın verilerini toplamak amacı ile alt amaçlara uygun olarak 5'li likert tipi derecelendirme geliştirilmiştir. Veriler, 5'li likert tipi derecelendirmede yer alan ölçütlere göre analiz edilerek, kitap içerisinden seçilen somut örneklerle desteklenecektir. Bu veriler, metnin içeriğini destekleyici illüstrasyonların (resimlemelerin) kullanılmasını, illüstrasyonlarla metnin içeriğinin uygun ve tutarlı olmasını, illüstrasyonların sayfa içerisine etkili biçimde yerleştirilmesini, illüstrasyonların teknik özellikler bakımından etkili kullanılmasını ve illüstrasyonların öğrenciyi düşündürmesi açısından analiz edilerek yorumlanmasını sağlanmıştır. This Tez was conducted to evaluate the appropriateness of the illustrations in 4th Grade Social Studies textbooks to the student age. The model of this Tez is a descriptive questionnaire. A qualitative data collection technique was used based on the survey analysis. The universe of this study consists of fourth grade Social Studies textbooks approved by the Ministry of National Education. The data were obtained as a result of questionnaires applied to experts and teachers. In order to collect the data of this study, a 5-point Likert-type rating was developed in accordance with the sub- objectives. The data will be analyzed according to the criteria in the 5-point Likert-type rating and will be supported with concrete examples selected from the book. These data provided the use of illustrations supporting illustrations of the text, the content of the illustrations to be appropriate and consistent, the placement of the illustrations effectively within the page, the use of illustrations in terms of technical characteristics and illustrations were analyzed and interpreted to make the student think.
